Eddy Duchin, born Edwin Frank Duchin on April 1, 1909, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, was an American pianist and bandleader. Initially a pharmacist, he began his music career with Leo Reisman's orchestra at the Central Park Casino in New York. By 1932, Duchin had taken over as the orchestra's leader, gaining popularity through regular radio broadcasts. He released several albums, including Plays Cole Porter (1990), Duchin Reminisces (1945), and I'll See You in My Dreams (1966).
