Eddie Taylor

Blues
After a childhood spent in Mississippi learning the blues from Charlie Patton, Son House and Tommy McClennan, Eddie Taylor moved to Chicago with his friend Jimmy Reed. Taylor is best known as the unfailing accompanist to Reed and John Lee Hooker on countless sessions for the VeeJay label. The all-too-rare records he recorded under his own name are consistently inspired and brilliant ("Big Town Playboy", "Bad Boy").
