Ecstasy, Passion & Pain are a disco band founded in New York City in 1972 by
Barbara Roy. The group emerged during the height of the disco era, capturing the
spirit of the time with their energetic and infectious sound. Their initial
breakthrough came with the single "Touch and Go", which featured Roy as the lead
singer and peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Dance chart in 1974. Following
this achievement, Ecstasy, Passion & Pain released several other notable
