David "Dudu" Tassa, born February 10, 1977, in Tel Aviv, Israel, is an Israeli
musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. At age 15, he released his
debut album Ohev et Ha'Shirim ("Loving the Songs"). After completing military
service, Tassa released Yoter Barur ("Clearer") in 2000, followed by Mitokh
Behira ("By Choice") in 2003. In 2011, he formed Dudu Tassa & the Kuwaitis, a
band that plays renditions of old Iraqi and Kuwaiti songs composed by his
grandfather and great-uncle, Daoud and Salih Al-Kuwaity. The group's debut album
