Drs. P
Heinz Hermann Polzer, known as Drs. P, was born on August 24, 1919 in Thun,
Switzerland, and raised in the Netherlands after his parents' divorce. He began
his music career in 1965 with a TV appearance on Willem Duys' program, which led
to his breakthrough as Drs. P. His first album Drs. LP was released the
following year. Throughout his career, Drs. P released numerous recordings
including Het Hart Eener Deerne, and Zingt Allen Mee Met Drs. P. Notable songs
include "Veerpont" and "Dodenrit". He also wrote texts for cabarets by Hetty
