Drapht
Paul Gary James, known professionally as Drapht, was born on September 4, 1982,
in Perth, Western Australia. Raised in North Perth, he was introduced to music
at a young age by his father, jazz drummer Gary Ridge. Drapht's first exposure
to hip hop came when he was eight years old. He began writing seriously and
contributing to the local scene as part of the Syllabolix (SBX) crew at 17. His
early contributions were featured on Hunter and Dazastah’s debut album Done DL
in 2000. Drapht released his first track, "Misunderstood", in 2003 as part of
