Douglas Samuel Charles Dare is an English singer-songwriter and pianist born on
June 6, 1990, in Bridport, Dorset, England. Dare studied music at the Liverpool
Institute for Performing Arts, performing with Paul McCartney. In 2013, Dare
released a debut EP, Seven Hours (2013), on Erased Tapes, which included notable
tracks like "Scars" and "Lungful". This was followed by a first full-length
album, Whelm (2014), featuring songs such as "Clockwork" and "Nile". Dare toured
Europe with label mate Ólafur Arnalds and supported Nils Frahm on a North
American tour. A second album, Aforge...
