Dougal
Paul Arnold Clarke, known professionally as DJ Dougal, was born on April 14,
1975, in Northampton, England. He began his involvement with dance music at age
15, setting up sound systems for acid house parties during a work experience
assignment at a music shop. Dougal's career took off with the release of his
first singles "Heaven Waits / Virtual Reality" and "Y'Know (What Y' Want) / Near
Miss" in 1992. His debut EP The Melodie E.P. followed in 1994, marking a
significant milestone. Throughout the 1990s, Dougal released several albums
