Dorthe Kollo, born Dorthe Larsen on July 17, 1947, in Copenhagen, Denmark, is a
Danish singer known for her contributions to pop and schlager music. She
received musical training from her father, who was the Kapellmeister of the
Symphonic Orchestra Aarhus, and also learned acting, dance, and pantomime. At
eight, she recorded her first single, Min Piphans, in Denmark. By twelve, she
earned her first gold record for "Åh, det er søndag", a cover version of Don
