Donis is a Lithuanian ambient music project created by multi-instrumentalist
Donatas Bielkauskas. He is recognized for his work in electronic music,
particularly within the ambient, neofolk, and experimental genres. Donis became
known for its interpretations of Baltic tribal ethnomusic and released several
albums, including Baltos Juodos Klajos (2002), Švilpiai (2002), and Sotvaras
(2003) with pagan band Kūlgrinda. His most well-known album is Bitė Lingo
(2006), which features eight archaic Lithuanian war songs interpreted by folk
