Dominik Wania, born November 24, 1981, in Sanok, Poland, is a pianist and
composer who began his piano studies at age three. He graduated from the Academy
of Music in Kraków in 2005 and received The Helena Foundation Presidential
Scholarship to pursue a Master of Music degree in Jazz Performance at New
England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Wania's debut album Ravel (2013)
featured arrangements of Maurice Ravel’s Miroirs. He has collaborated with
notable musicians including Marcus Miller and Lee Konitz, and his subsequent
