Dollar, a British pop vocal duo made up of David Van Day and Thereza Bazar,
formed in England in 1978 after meeting at age 17 while auditioning for UK pop
act Guys 'n' Dolls. Their debut single "Shooting Star" reached number 14 on the
UK Singles Chart in late 1978, while the duo's first self-written hit, "Love's
Gotta Hold on Me", entered the Top 10 and climbed to number four on the UK
chart. Dollar released their debut album Shooting Stars in 1979, which made the
