Formerly known as "Field Studies," Do Nothing is a British post-punk revival
band that formed in Nottingham, England, in 2012. Inspired by diverse artists
like Tom Waits, Spoon, and Simon and Garfunkel, Field Studies released a debut
EP, Celestial, in 2013, while the band's four members were still teenagers. This
was followed by a second EP, Rainmaking, in 2016. Following a tour in support of
the latter EP's release, Field Studies officially changed its name to Do Nothing
