Djabe
Djabe are a Hungarian jazz-rock ensemble from Budapest formed in 1995. The group
was established by Attila Égerházi and András Sipos as a side project of the
ensemble Novus Jam. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording
Djabe (1996). They received the eMeRTon Award for the studio recording Update
(2001). They achieved professional recognition for collaborations with musicians
including Steve Hackett and Ben Castle. Their discography includes the studio
recordings Witchi Tai To (1998), Ly-O-Lay Ale Loya (1999), and In the Footsteps
of Attila and Genghis (2011). ...
