DJ KOO
DJ Koo, born 高瀨 浩一 on August 8, 1961, in Tokyo, Japan, is a Japanese disc
jockey, musician, and tarento. He began his career as a DJ at local discos. In
1986, he formed the remix unit The JG's with Hironobu Honda (dj honda) and Joji
Otsuka, releasing their debut album The JG's in 1988. DJ Koo's breakthrough came
with the formation of TRF in 1992, where he served as the leader and DJ. The
group produced multiple million-selling singles, including "Impression of trf"
