DJ Joe
Puerto Rican producer and DJ Joe Rosario, known professionally as DJ Joe, was
active during reggaeton's formative underground period, issuing projects
including DJ Joe 5: El Escuadrón del Pánico in 1997 and DJ Joe 6: El Escuadrón
del Pánico in 1999. Those early productions featured emerging rappers including
Ñejo and Tempo, while DJ Blass later cited DJ Joe's work among the records that
influenced his own approach to production. In 2000, DJ Joe teamed with Trébol
Clan for Los Genios Musicales and released Fatal Fantassy, whose sexually
charged, dance-oriented reggaeton included "...
