DJ Honda is a Japanese record producer and DJ who was born as Katsuhiro Honda in Hokkaido, Japan, in 1965. He achieved early professional recognition in 1992 after placing as the runner-up in the New Music Seminar's Battle for World Supremacy in New York City and is famous for his eponymous debut studio recording h (1995) and for bridging the Japanese and American hip hop scenes.
