DJ Douggpound
Doug Lussenhop, known professionally as DJ Douggpound, is an American musician
and comedian. Born on March 8, 1973, in Darien, Illinois, Lussenhop began a
career collaborating on video projects and creating video art showcased at MoMA
PS1 in New York City. Operating as a self-described “Joke DJ” who blended music
with comedy, Lussenhop released the debut album Pound It in 2009, which featured
songs created for the sketch series The Poundcast. Subsequent albums included Up
Our Holes, Nickels Get Jelly, Videovember, and The Body Tight Workout.
