Dip in the Pool is a Japanese pop duo formed in 1983. The group consists of
Miyako Koda and Tatsuji Kimura. They released their debut EP Dip in the Pool
(1985). Their first album, Dip in the Pool (1986), was released in the UK titled
Silence (1986). Their recordings include the albums 10 Palettes (1988), Retinae
(1989), and Aurorae (1991). Their track “Izmir” (1999) was used as the ending
music for the game Omega Boost. Koda also performed as an actress in films
including Fanshî dansu (1989), Hakuchi (1999), and Kanaria (2005). The duo’s
