Dino Olivieri
Dino Olivieri, born 5 December 1905 in Senigallia, Italy, was an Italian
musician, composer and conductor known for his contributions to light music. His
breakthrough came with the 1936 composition "Tornerai", later popularized as
"J'attendrai". Olivieri released the EP Recital – Italian Songs in 1959,
followed by the 1961 album Canzoni Napoletane. He was also the orchestral and
artistic director of La Voce del Padrone for ten years. He died on 24 January
1963 in Milan.
