Diesel, a Dutch pop-rock band, were formed in October 1978 by ex-Kayak drummer
Pim Koopman. The group initially comprised Pim Koopman on drums, keyboard, and
vocals; Rob Vunderink on guitar and lead vocals; Mark Boon on guitar; and Frank
Papendrecht on bass. Their first album, Watts in a Tank, was released in the
Netherlands in 1980 and spawned the hit single "Going Back to China", which
