Die 3. Generation is a German hip-hop trio from Berlin. Assembled by Arne
Beyer’s Telemedia GmbH label, the group consisted of Tolga Ölmez, Julian
Strehle, and Darko Kordic. Preceded by the Top 10 single “Vater, wo bist du?,”
their eponymous studio debut came out in 1998 and peaked at Number 42 on the
German Albums Chart. In 1999, the group received the Echo Award for Best New
