Didith Reyes
Maria Helen Bella Avenila Santamaria, better known as Didith Reyes, was born on
September 17, 1949, in Manila, Philippines. She began her recording career after
joining the Circus band and later Time Machine. Reyes signed with Vicor Music
Corporation and released her debut single "Araw-araw, Gabi-gabi", which became a
hit. Notable songs include "Hindi Kami Damong Ligaw" and "Bakit Ako Mahihiya?".
Reyes won the Gold Prize and Best Performer at the 1977 Tokyo Music Festival.
Her career included international concerts in cities like Kyoto and Tokyo. She
