Diane Renay, born Renee Diane Kushner on July 13, 1945, in South Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, is an American singer. She began singing at a young age and
received voice lessons from Artie Singer, who also managed Danny and the
Juniors. Her first single "Little White Lies" was released in 1962 under Atco
Records but did not chart nationally. Bob Crewe then signed her to a new
recording contract with 20th Century label, where she achieved her biggest hit
"Navy Blue" in late 1963. The song reached number 6 on the Hot 100 and topped
the Adult Contemporary singles chart in March 1964. ...
