Der Verfall
Der Verfall is a German techno project from Germany formed by Alex Butcher,
Alexander Abraham, and Kai MacDonald. The ensemble debuted with the promo single
“Der Verfall” (1998) which was first released under the name Lexikon. A limited
promo vinyl of the English version “The Ruin” was also issued. In 1999 the group
released the single “Der Verfall” as “Der Verfall #2”. Recognition increased
with the singles “Vater Unser” (1999) which reached number 28 in Germany and
number 16 in Austria and “Abfahrt” (1999) which featured Srecko and reached
