First appearing on the French scene around 2002, Déportivo are at the crossroads of alternative rock and new French chanson. This trio is as capable of sonic explosions as of calmer moments when lyrics become paramount. Avec Eux in 2005 proved a big hit, selling 60,000 copies. The release of Déportivo in 2007 led to a major tour, with the Yvelines-based trio continuing to make the stage their favorite place of expression. 2011 sees the release of the mature album Ivres et Débutants, produced by Gaëtan Roussel.
