Defiance
Defiance is an American thrash metal band from Oakland formed in 1985. The group
was established by guitarist Brad Bowers, drummer Matt Vander Ende, and bassist
Mike Kaufmann. They released their debut studio album, Product of Society
(1989), through Roadracer Records. They followed this with the studio recording
Void Terra Firma (1990), which featured a cover of the Iron Maiden track
“Killers” (1990). Their discography includes the technical and jazz
