Deepak Devraj Komath, known professionally as Deepak Dev, is an Indian composer
born on April 30, 1978, recognized for his work in Malayalam cinema. Originally
from Thalassery, Kerala, he was raised in Dubai, where he studied at the Indian
High School and trained in Carnatic music before shifting his focus to the
keyboard. During his college years at Sacred Heart College, Kochi, he led a
successful rock band and began working as a music programmer with major Indian
