Debademba
One from Burkina Faso, the other from Mali, the guitarist and singer met in
cosmopolitan Belleville. It was in the 20th arrondissement of Paris that
Debademba was born. Between afro-funk and blues in the style of Ali Farka Touré,
the whole of the western part of the black continent is represented on
Debademba. Released in January 2011, this debut album is one of the promises of
African music relocated to the world's sound capital. Souleymane in 2013 is a
continuation of the duo's inspiration.
