Dean Zucchero

An active blues bassist on the New York scene, Dean Zucchero cut his teeth in clubs such as CBGB's, The Bitter End, Dan Lynch Blues Bar, Bottom Line and Manny's Carwash, alongside the likes of Major Domo, Popa Chubby and Frankie Paris. He then toured Europe for nine years, with bands The Healers and Sugar Pie & the Candymen, before returning to the U.S. in 2013. He settled in Louisiana, in New Orleans, where he frequented the local scene, including Little Freddie King and Johnny Sansone, and worked with Ghalia Volt on two of his albums.
