Dead Fish
Dead Fish, a Brazilian melodic hardcore band, was formed in Vitória, Espírito
Santo, in 1991. Initially inspired by bands like Dead Kennedys and The
Innocents, they started as "Stage Dive" but later changed their name to Dead
Fish due to naming conflicts. Their early releases included the demo tape
Re-Progresso (1995) and the album Sirva-se (1998), which sold over 10,000 copies
independently. In 2004, they gained national attention with their breakthrough
album Zero e Um, released by Deckdisc, winning an MTV Video Music Brazil award
