Davie Allan, an American guitarist born in Southern California, began his
musical journey as a teenager learning guitar. His career took off when he
teamed up with Mike Curb to form an instrumental surf combo and release the
single "War Path" on Curb Records in 1963. In 1964, Curb founded Sidewalk
Records and secured a recording contract for Davie Allan & The Arrows. Their
breakthrough came with the soundtrack for The Wild Angels, featuring "Blue's
