David Schnaufer
David Schnaufer, born September 28, 1952, in Hearne, Texas, was an American folk
singer and award-winning dulcimer player who grew up in La Marque, Texas. His
early breakthrough came when Mark O'Connor invited him to record in 1988 on
Elysian Forest after hearing Schnaufer perform an instrumental rendition of
"Both Sides Now." Schnaufer followed with solo releases, including Dulcimer
