An eclectic singer, David Linx got his start in jazz at an early age. Born in
Brussels on March 22, 1965, David Gistelinck (real name) formed his first band,
The Baldwin Project, when he was less than twenty. He invited the black American
writer to read his poems on A Lover's Question (1987). Other albums followed,
before a lasting association with pianist Diederick Wissels starting with the
album Kamoot (1992). David Linx worked with the cream of the Belgian music scene
in a variety of formations, lending his beautiful organ to projects by Claude
Nougaro, Michel Benita, Daniel Y...
