David Krakauer
A virtuoso clarinetist trained at the Juilliard School in New York, David
Krakauer (b. 1956) is one of the world's ambassadors of Klezmer music, a
traditional European Jewish music that he has brought into the contemporary
world. As a member of the groups The Klezmatics and Klezmer Madness! he blends
folklore and cutting-edge jazz in a single movement. His recurring collaboration
