David Dallas
David Dallas (August 28, 1982) is a New Zealand rapper of European and Samoan
descent. Born and raised in the suburbs of Papatoetoe in Auckland, he began
performing under the name Con Psy in the hip-hop duo Frontline, whose 2005
studio debut Borrowed Time won Best Urban Album at the 2006 New Zealand Music
Awards. A few years later, David Dallas kicked off his solo career with the
album Something Awesome (2009), which shot straight to the top of New Zealand's
