David Alexander
David Alexander, who was born in 1938 and died of a heart attack on February 4,
1995, was a Welsh singer and entertainer who began performing in local social
clubs before gaining wider notice. His debut single, “If I Could See the Rhondda
One More Time” (1971), was released by the Columbia label of EMI in 1971 and
introduced him to a national audience, followed by “Dream On Dreamer” (1971) and
the 1974 single “Taste the Wine” (1974), which was released on Penny Farthing.
