Das Racist
Das Racist, an American alternative hip hop group based in Brooklyn, was formed
by MCs Himanshu "Heems" Suri and Victor "Kool A.D." Vazquez, along with hype man
Ashok Kondabolu. The trio gained initial attention with the 2008 song
"Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell". Their breakthrough came in 2010 with the
release of two mixtapes, Shut Up, Dude and Sit Down, Man, both of which received
critical acclaim. Notable achievements include being featured on Spin's list of
fifty acts to watch at the 2010 SXSW festival and MTV Iggy's selection as one of
the 25 Best New Bands in the Worl...
