Danu
Danú, an Irish traditional music band, consists of Donnchadh Gough, Dónal
Clancy, Daire Bracken, and Benny McCarthy. The group solidified after performing
at the Festival Interceltique de Lorient in 1995. Their second album, Think
Before You Think (2000), was voted Best Overall Traditional Act by Dublin's
magazine Irish Music. Danú won the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards for Best Original
Song with "County Down" in 2004, having previously won the award in 2001. The
band has released several albums, including All Things Considered (2002), The
