Danger Dan
Daniel Pongratz, better known in the German hip-hop scene as Danger Dan, was
born on June 1, 1983, in Aachen. Encouraged by his parents, he devoted himself
to music at an early age and played in funk, punk, and reggae bands, among
others. Following the two releases Alles vorbei (2006) and Es wird wie ein
Unfall aussehen (2008)—which Pongratz released with his brother Tobias and their
mutual friend Koljah under the name Caught in the Crack—his first solo album,
