Dandelion
Dandelion was a rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed in 1989 by
vocalist/guitarist Kevin Morpurgo, bassist Mike Morpurgo, guitarist Carl Hinds,
and drummer Dante Cimino. The band recorded a demo tape called Silver in 1990,
which attracted the attention of Ruffhouse Records. Their first single "Waiting
for a Ride" was released in 1992, followed by their debut album I Think I'm
Gonna Be Sick in 1993 under Columbia/Ruffhouse. The band's music gained
visibility on MTV with videos for "Waiting for a Ride", and "Weird-Out".
