(DALPALAN)
Kang Ki‑young, known professionally as Dalpalan, was born on 16 July 1966 in
Seoul, South Korea, and has worked as a composer and music director. After
graduating from Yongsan High School, he played bass in the band Little Sky and
later joined the heavy‑metal group Sinawe, before forming H 2 O and eventually
the punk‑techno outfit Pippi Band. His breakthrough came in 1997 with the techno
single "The Fool Bus" and the subsequent album Whistle Star, which marked the
