Dalchhut
Dalchhut is a Bangladeshi pop rock band from Dhaka, formed in 1996 by Bappa
Mazumder and Sanjeeb Choudhury. The group released its debut album, Ah, in 1997.
Over the following decade, the ensemble established its presence in the music
scene with albums such as Hridoypur (2000), Akash Churi (2002), and Jochona
Bihar (2007). The band’s trajectory was profoundly impacted by the death of
Choudhury in 2007. In 2008, Mazumder released the album Tukro Kotha as a solo
tribute to his late partner, followed by the collaborative album Kingbodonti
