Daisuke Namikawa is a Japanese musician, filmmaker, and voice-over actor. Born
in Tokyo on April 2, 1976, he began his acting career as a child, contributing
his voice to anime productions like 1986's Three Kingdoms II: Heroes Flying in
the Sky and 1987's The Fifteenth Boy Drift. The voice-over work continued well
into the 21st century, with Namikawa providing the Japanese dubbing for actors
like Leonard DiCaprio and Elijah Wood. He also worked as a musician, debuting
