Formed in the southern Buenos Aires suburb of Quilmes, Cumbia Rocha emerged in
the early 2020s as a nimble cumbia project built around live medleys and studio
singles that rework Latin pop and urbano hits for the dancefloor. Led by singer
and content creator Lihu Bombillar, the group took its first steps through
singles like "Amor Perdido" (2021), "Procura / Un Montón de Estrellas / Machu
Picchu" (2022), and "La Flor / Bachata Rosa / Cantarte al Oído" (2023). In 2024,
the project issued “Hoy Me Puse Pillo” while growing a presence on YouTube with
