Crown Heights Affair, an American R&B, funk, and disco group from Brooklyn, New
York City, were formed in 1967. Initially known as Ben Iverson and the Nue Dey
Express, the band were renamed after a neighbourhood in Brooklyn. Signed to RCA,
they recorded their self-titled first album as Crown Heights Affair in 1974,
featuring their first single "(You Can't Bend My) Super Rod". Line-up changes
