Crispian St. Peters, born Robin Peter Smith on April 5, 1939, in Swanley, Kent,
is a British singer known for his work in pop and folk music. He began
performing as a teenager with local bands and later joined Beat Formula Three,
where he caught the attention of EMI publicist David Nicholson. Under
Nicholson's management, Smith adopted the stage name Crispian St. Peters. In
1965, St. Peters signed to Decca Records and released his first two singles, "No
No No" and "At This Moment", which did not chart highly. His breakthrough came
in 1966 with the release of "You Were on My Mind"...
