Consolidated
Consolidated, an American radical activist music group from San Francisco,
California, was formed in 1988. The band's original lineup consisted of Adam
Sherburne on guitar and vocals, Mark Pistel handling samples, sequencers, and
keyboards/synths, and Philip Steir on drums. Their debut album, The Myth Of
Rock, was released in 1990, followed by extensive touring with Meat Beat
Manifesto the next year. Consolidated's music evolved from industrial to
hip-hop, hard rock, and funk, blending live and electronic instruments. Notable
