Constance Foore Boswell, known professionally as Connee Boswell, born on December 3, 1907, in Kansas City, Missouri, was an American jazz vocalist. Initially spelling her name Connie, she began her career singing with her sisters Martha and Helvetia as the trio The Boswell Sisters. The sisters started performing in New Orleans theaters and on radio before making their first recordings for Victor Records in 1925, which included "Cryin' Blues" (1925).
