Compact is a Romanian classic rock band formed in 1977 in Cluj-Napoca by Teo
Peter, Constantin "Costi" Cămărășan, and Marian Manoliu. Their early success
included winning the main prize at the Perpetuum Vox Transilvania festival in
1981. After internal disputes, Peter and Cămărășan continued with Paul Ciuci on
vocals and guitar and Aurel "Leluț" Vasilescu on drums. In 1982, Compact
released their first album Formații Rock 6 with Trupa 2005. Their breakthrough
came in 1983 with the single "Fata din vis" (1983). The band released their
